Women of the World—A Global Collection of Art
World traveler Claudia DeMonte posed the question: What image represents woman?. Teresa Camacho-Hull, along with other women from 173 countries, responded to this question into a unique collaborative piece and a historic document of art by women at this time. The entire collection has been bought and will find its permanent home in the International Museum of Women in San Francisco, when it opens in 2008.
DeMonte, continues her curatorial project with a projected exhibition called “The Beauty Show”. She is collecting home-made cloth dolls from around the world that will highlight varied images of beauty.
